The Day Before NIH

Bertrand flew out of Salt Lake:



Over the mountains:



He was an angel on the plane:



The Captain gave him his hat and pinned him with wings:



Bertrand had great dinner with Uncle Bob, Aunt Judy, cousin Eric, cousin Beth, Nana and Papa:



And, an early bed time before a long day tomorrow:

      Thank you, Jennifer! I am devastated. Bertrand has only ever been to 2 or 3 appointments without me. I feel like I am letting him down, even though it's not my fault that airlines won't let full-term pregnant women fly. But I know how important the results of these studies could be for NGLY1 patients. Our family will never say "no" to science. I am glad that at least Matthew was able to take him. :)
